Patching a hole in my ceiling. (Update in OP)

My foot went through my ceiling while in the attic. It’s a small job, so I have issues finding anyone to patch it. They are interested the. Never get back in touch (before price is discussed). The only thing holding me back from doing it myself is that it is a highly visible spot with an odd texturing to match. I have no problem matching and painting, just the texturing issue. In the picture the black stuff is just plastic I placed to stop insulation from falling down.
Anyone know someone in the NOLA/Metairie area that wants this job?
If I am stuck picking up help from the Lowe’s parking lot, how do I know which one can actually do a good job?
My rough guess on price was $100 (which I get is wrong) for labor and I’ll cover the supplies. My username is also my email at gmail if someone wants it.
UPDATE: Found a guy through people to fix it for $170 including material. It took him 4 trips, but he was working a big job nearby. 45 one morning, back in the afternoon to float, next morning second pass, that evening final pass, sand, and texture. I guess I lucked out that he added a little time before and after work two days to make $170 cash.
I will paint it tomorrow, but it’s already almost unnoticeable unless looking for it.

I’d just install a fan.

It would hit the ceiling fan about 2.5 feet away from the hole.

Foot slipped in the attic?

I'm not sure where you get your rough estimate from, but it's going to take more than one or two visits to do it correctly. I'm not sure how many people are going to be willing to come out a couple of times for a hundred bucks. If you kept the old piece of sheetrock I just use some duct tape and spray paint it

I have yet to talk price with anyone. Ghosted 3 times. What is your guess on price?

Just tape a poster over it

Depending on the convenience of the job site to my location, I'd probably charge it 250 bucks and we have to have an understanding about how well the Spackle texture patch match was going to look.

I had a limb fall through my roof and ceiling last month. The hole in the ceiling was about the size of the hole in your ceiling and the contractor which State Farm referred me to wanted $2,246 to fix it.
The price included repainting the entire room ($490) to make sure the paint color matched (white) and moving all of the furniture around ($290) in the room so the sheet rock guy could work on replacing an entire sheet of drywall.
State Farm approved the cost and covered it in my claim.
Instead, I watched a couple of YouTube videos on how to repair holes in ceiling drywall, went to Home Depot and bought $33 of materials, including a small bag of the "cotton candy" looking fiberglass insulation and a can of "orange peel" texture and fixed it myself.
You can't tell there was ever a hole there unless you stand under it and study it.

Did the same thing a few years back. Patch the hole, float and sand and buy some texture in a can spray. If the texture is hard to match, just fan it out much larger than the hole. Be prepared to repaint the whole ceiling, as this more than anything will draw your eye towards the repair. If anything, you've done most of the work and finding someone to texture properly will at least be a more affordable option.

Do you need any interior painting done?
Most decent painters can do that job. Plus, I would assume you will need the ceiling re-painted as well. Maybe even pay them to take the texture off the ceiling so you can DIY it next time you fall through.
