Is pascals manale the restaurant going to live on? It’s an institution

Yes. It will have a small addition to the sign saying something like, “A Dickie Brennan & Co Restaurant”.

Had turned to shite. They reheat the butter sauce for their signature dish and it comes out looking like a black and tan.

Ray literally bought it on his deathbed and the estate has had issues. Having a competent owner will help.

PASCAL MANALE. Sometime in the 1968 period, I presented the wife with an engagement ring at the Manale dinner table. After 1970, we lived about 2 blocks down the street from the rest.

I look at that photo and chuckle. Dickie and some of the people in his orbit are interesting characters.

It's definitely the "cool" thing to do to buy old culinary institutions in Nola when they come up for sale. It's not a cheap hobby.

I am pretty sure he means New Orleans style BBQ shrimp which isn't actually BBQ shrimp.

Fleur de Lis pizza was the strangest restaurant on earth. Everyone in there was constantly pissed off at something between the customers and the workers.

Brewery next door doesn't feel too highly of them.

Possibly the most overrated thing in BR. It was good pizza, but that’s about it.

Dark, cramped, unfriendly workers, cash only, and incredibly greasy. The whole place was gross and shitty.

Price is always set when buyer agrees, even in a seller’s market (new cars right now). Acceptance (or not) is buyer’s power, not seller’s.
