New Orleans culinary landmark on Napoleon Avenue (just off St. Charles Avenue) that basically invented or popularized BBQ shrimp sells for "only" $3.85 million -- while shite-hole Red Stick pizzeria Fleur de Lis asks for $4.something million.

They can ask. It will eventually sell for drastically less though.

The land is worth about 1mil at best. The building probably needs to be torn down and the parking lot completely redone.

Fleur de Lis Pizza
Possibly the most overrated thing in BR. It was good pizza, but that’s about it.

Even that isn’t consensus. It’s a physical shithole of a building/parking lot, and a name/pizza that half of Baton Rouge either loved or hated to begin with.
They’ll be lucky to get $1.5m for it by the time it sells.

Is pascals manale the restaurant going to live on? It’s an institution.

Honestly this alone makes it a great purchase. The property is terrific.

Charlie’s Steakhouse down the street from Pascal’s Manale is a bigger draw for me, or has been.

I have gone there with my parents for 30+ years. Easily best steaks in New Orleans.

As a teenager, I saw my first drunk person in Fleur de Lis. He was seated at the bar and fell off his seat. Lololol. Good times

Seems a bit high. What did Ray Brant pay for the place?
That aside, the place slipped a bit under the Brants, understandable because it was Ray's baby and Ray is gone. One of my favorite spots in my old neighborhood though. When my wife (no pics) was out of town on a saturday, I'd have long oyster lunch at Superior with cold cheap beer and then late dinner at Pascal's (fruits de mer for sure).

I’m not (Peej) gonna mention (Peej) any names.

I lived at Napoleon and Baronne back in the day.

If that lovely, yet gruff, lady at Fleur de Lis is negotiating, I wouldn't be surprised if she scared them into paying that. As gross as the joint could be, I do miss the pizza though, downvote away.
