This game is dirty all the way up to public officials. Some poor schmuck "yes" man is gonna be the fall guy and he doesnt even know it yet. They are not gonna look too hard because everyone involved above the forman position are guilty in this Big Easy Jenga Catastrophe. Corners have been cut on this project from the time the ground was broken. Checks and balances are in place to prevent such fro, occuring. "House" rules on a "Winner Calls" game made the project doomed by design before the rigged die could even fly.

I’m guessing you are a woman? What a shite post

I drove by canal yesterday and the pictures do not even do it justice.
The problem is that this will be tough to pin on only one person and if you follow the rabbit trail of incompetence it takes you down a pretty far hole. Some of the owners are tied to restoration projects all around the country and the corruption involved with some of those projects would make the Clintons look silky smooth. I have a hard time believing it will get that far because of what type of people involved but it would make for an interesting documentary.

This is over LaToya’s Head, as it would be most people.
But for fricks sake Mitch landrieu would have turned this into a nuclear disaster. Get out of here with this shite.

Same here. The magnitude of this has to be seen in person as tv and live stream do not do it justice. Looks to be a complete tear down, albeit leaving the parking garage if it survives the demo.

Nah, street load, logistics, are the 2 main reasons. No crane companies wanting to touch it are the others.

One would think with all the refinery construction type work down there
Well yeah, that they are paying to be using. The cranes are listing more every day so it’s just best for everyone involved that they come down as soon as possible.

I see some folks saying they are going to be protesting Down there as the last body isn’t officially officially confirmed dead yet.

I'd bet that's probably the top reason.

Can you imagine the cluster frick of trying to build a crawler capable of making this type of lift in downtown NOLA?

I did some looking around and ask you this; How do you think they put it up?

There is a 0% chance this happens

Is there going to be a livestream of this?

I could be completely wrong but I don’t think those cranes require another crane to be built. They are put up one section at a time with some sort of hydraulic lift.

Looks like they can be done a couple ways. This vid shows what I was thinking.
Building a tower crane
I guess the crane I was thinking of is called a telescoping crane.
