Think about it like felling a tree. They’re cutting it now to ensure the charges push it the “right way”.
Sort of like cutting a notch and backcut on a tree

I'll give you credit nobody else wants to. You told us before noon that this was going to happen.

Pretty sure people were saying that about the entire structure. Not just the cranes

Went back and checked and he definitely was saying the entire structure would be coming down Friday. I'll give him credit for definitely being somewhere in the loop though

He didnt say that. Are you talking about people responding to him?

WBRZ didn't say anything about the cranes. Said "Small explosives to be set off in parts if the building"

I would imagine the amount of "work" done by the employees of companies downtown, tomorrow, is going to be close to nil.

Those two counterweights falling on the already-compromised structure will be like wrecking balls, no way this project is going to be salvageable after that.
I hope there's some good HD video from several angles

The top part of one of the cranes -- the "T" -- alone weighs 145,000 pounds
That's gonna leave a mark

And I will be one of those worthless workers.
I just wish they would give a time so I won't have to go stand looking out the window for long periods of time.

So they will have all this ready to go tomorrow?
