It is a very tough pill for most parents, specifically moms, to swallow.
Although your kid is the #1 most important thing to you in the world, very few, if any, people outside your family give a flying frick about them.
Do I want them to be smart, safe, and happy? Absolutely.
I just give zero fricks about their journey.

Pretty much the only reason I have Facebook. So distant relatives can see my family and I can see theirs. Everything else is just filler.

My daughter went from 1st grade to 3rd grade, and has made all A's thru 6th grade.

The truth is I have the smartest, cutest son on the planet. And people should feel lucky to see pics of him pulling his wagon next to his puppy.

When we had the 20 week ultrasound we were watching and my wife asked the girl is that his arm? She said uh... nope that's a boy. Of course being immature I quickly came in with welp I guess I can't say this one's not mine. My wife didn't find it very funny. WHen we left the sonographer gave me her number in case we need her for anything. When we were in the car my wife asked wtf would we need a random ultrasound for? My dr will just schedule me one. I made the comment that I don't think that's what the number was for.
My back is still sore from sleeping on the couch those two weeks.

I understate my son's ability in soccer, but I'll talk up his football kicking side. Other dads think anyone can kick, but they're full of shite. That and when you watch a video it looks easy...it is if you have a big leg with an accurate foot...but it's funny that no one in the whole 9-11 league can do it worth a frick. My 9 yr old is deadly inside 80ft.

I have no problem with parents or grandparents who think their kids are the greatest thing ever. That's normal. But what I hate is if they get bent out of shape if you don't comment to agree or like their pictures.
