ill praise it when it deserves praise. it's borderline unplayable on console - runs like a slideshow on One X.

we'll see how long it lasts, it's lost half its playerbase in 6 months.

I'm scared to start gaming again. Skyrim and Fallout ruined my life for a while.

My buddy's son plays a lot of fortnite and roblox. Played PubG, saw it and gave it a try.

Bought an xbox, live, and internet for the house for just that reason

The update about 1 month ago fixed A LOT of issues.

You explore an area before most players could get there, it can get a little wierd, but everything is fine 45 seconds after drop.

Do not ride a bike in the first 45 seconds

I agree wholeheartedly.

If a parent hires a hitting coach (for example), it’s a one on one session to make the child better for themselves, which in turn helps a team.

What if a child plays tennis? Are you against it because it’s not a team sport? No, you just don’t agree with kids spending time playing video games.

I downloaded fortnite. I started getting uncomfortable when everything was pink

Then there was a fat girl holding a sledgehammer on the title screen

Then I picked join a game and it made me play as a dyke with purple hair

If you let your son play this sjw trash don’t be surprised if he turns out gay

Apparently it’s like the bigggest video game out there right now. I know my teenage son and all his friends play it at night. I’ve seen it and it looks to be sort of like a mix of Call of Duty meets Tomb-raider from what I can tell.

I’m upset that my PS3 finally pooped out. I plan on buying another used PS3. No one needs more than PS3.

When I built my house, I sold everything out of my apartment including a ps3 and all the games for $20.

I have no desire to ever own another gaming console.

Cmon now. Individual sports teach discipline and determination. Kids play Fortnite to dick around with their friends and blow off steam. Did your parents pay for you to take hide and seek lessons?

It takes a lot of RPG elements and puts them in a shooter game. Scavenging and building are major aspects. It also starts out on a huge map which progressively dwindles down to smaller and smaller circles forcing people to come out and fight instead of camping all game.

Plus since you can play squads, you and 3 friends can play together and try to win.

It’s fun, but I don’t see how you need a coach outside of maybe wanting to build better/faster.

believe me, I played travel baseball, AAU basketball, and premier soccer. I’m all about the team sports. Do yourself a favor and look up Fortnite streamers on YouTube. Some get thousands of dollars a live stream. It’s the digital culture we live in now.

I can't find my groove in pubg.

I'm either 2-3 no kills some damage, get sniped out by the winner in the final circle.

Or I get 5 kills and go out to some lucky sonuvabitch with 30-50 players left.

Or my fricking favorite. I jump in just to fist fight someone on an apt because I've gotten to 2nd place 3x in a row and I just fricking cant anymore.

I'm beyond the point of being incredulous. People get private lessons for sports, which has zero ROI for most of the kids. At least being awesome at a video game could yield financial returns, even if your kid is a pasty chub that spends all his time on the computer.

This is the most concerning part to me

League of Legends open letters to parents

When did gaming go wrong? We went from "Pringles, baby" to random dumbasses pleading for kids to miss dinner and stay up past bedtime to play with them.

Don't see the problem. He's getting better at something he's interested in doing and it's costing his parents practically nothing. If he's going to waste his time playing, he might as well be good at it.
