My grandpa is in his 90's and still has one. He constantly bitches about it having too many buttons, and struggles to do much beyond making a call.
A few months back he asked me if he should get an iPhone because someone mentioned he needed to use an App for something. I told him to stick with what he has. My guess is that he probably couldn't even get the phone unlocked half the time.

Looks like they are at a public library, and he is there using their internet. Dude probably doesn't have a ton of money to be spending on smart phones if he can't even afford internet in his own home.
