I have literally seen them high out of their minds and taking a dump in a bucket on the side of the road. Leaving said bucket for someone else to pick up. Not normal behavior sir.

Passed a guy outside the Walmarks with his wife and three kids sitting in the grass near by. His sign said the typical “have a family need help blah blah blah”. It’s damn near impossible to drive anywhere without seeing now hiring signs. Absolutely no excuses.

Haven't seen the card reader but I have seen plenty of smart phone and venmo requests at the corner. There were new people on sherwood today, wonder how that hierarchy works. The black guy on crutches was still on the embankment

This. Every light cycle when the traffic light turns red those fricks walk between cars and there are people rolling down their windows giving them money.
I figured it out awhile back.. I think a cycle is 3 mins so that's 20 times an hour they can go around stopped vehicles and collect. I forgot what I estimated what they could possibly collect in an hour, but lets say they get $3 total every cycle.. That's $60 an hour cash. frick them.
I like to make eye contact with them and look them in the eye to see how long they will stall until they realize I am not giving them anything.

Cruel joke idea: Unloaded gift cards are usually free--you can pick up a stack of 20, scan one in self-checkout, and take 19 empties with you. Use the empties for handing out to the panhandlers.
Of course, since cards can't be used to acquire fentanyl, they'd probably get tossed and added to all the trash they generate.

Had some airhead on Airline @ Coursey the other day cause 25 cars miss the light cycle waiting on a bum to walk up and grab the 2 dollars she was breaking her arm waving at him. 
It would've done my heart some good to see her get a ticket over that crap.

Yep. I regularly see someone handing out coins or a dollar to the ones camped on the College off ramp. And it seems every ditch, underpass embankment, small wooded area near streets, etc. has an abandoned buggy or two, half-filled with trash. It's ridiculous, embarrassing, and getting worse. And this doesn't even get to the issue of campsites and their associated trash. I don't know what the issue is, but it was never this bad when Kip was mayor.
