Panhandlers are going to have a much tougher time getting money

Just saw a guy bumming at the corner of an intersection with a sign that said, “No job, have kids, anything helps.”
There’s literally a fricking Popeyes across the street with a help wanted sign.
I went to mccallisters yesterday to pickup lunch to-go. Couple walks in just trying to order and sit down to eat, cashier says they aren’t taking any dine-in orders because they were too short handed.

I thought I heard once on here that when a baw was approached at a gas station for money he said he didn't have cash and the bum whipped out his phone and said he can take card

Not sure about that but I did see one near downtown this morning with one of those green rental bikes laying down next to him. Pretty sure those aren't free to use.

I drunk napkin pitched an app called “bum tip” a good decade ago, and it was just a bit ahead of its time. Seems like a good way to form a not for profit snd skim a seven figure exec director salary off an ungodly number of $1 transactions.

The new attempted hustle by junkies is when they realize you’re not going to give them any cash they’ll repeatedly harass you and say they can accept Venmo.

Based on my observations (and I know that broad generalizations are rarely applicable) most are addicts and thus do not prefer the fruits of traditional employment. They prefer the mission of attaining $10 bucks a day, to support a high, and possibly a burger/water to sustain life. Rinse/Repeat….not to mention stealing shopping carts and randomly abandoning them all over the city.

You don't know thier health. Thier issues or obstacles. I wonder how many of the posters here insulting homeless people to somehow make themselves feel better are also self-professed Christians? "What you do for the least of these, you do for me." Hey Jesus you fn junkee, get a job or bitcoin or whatever. Dumbazz Jesus. Or is that verse not in the bible?
