Those fingers appear to be connected to some dainty knuckles there pal. I was expecting sausage fingers.

The watch I posted is cooler than those O'rental ones.

I'm a fan of this watch, but not really "dressy" so kinda depends on needs.
Ultimately, a big part of the decision for you is do you want something unique that might not be recognizable (Laco, Tisell, Orient, etc.), something with a bit of a name to it (Citizen/Seiko), or you really don't care, just want something that looks good.
The movements in most of the Tisell watches are actually Citizen/Miyota movements so you're not giving up quality there. Laco movements are dependent on model Citizen/Miyota, ETA(swatch), or Sellita. On the other hand, not many people will recognize the watch if that matters to you. Personally not a huge fan of the entry level Seiko/Citizen watch styles, but that's personal preference, not an issue with quality.
Also, how big is your wrist? Some great watches that are too big for me but might work out great for you. I prefer a 40-42mm watch for my wrist size, if you've got big wrists, that would look tiny on you.

With a black leather band that watch is perfectly dressy. I don't see how 40-42mm is small for anyone. That's a modern sized watch with almost no bezel. A large dial makes a watch look big when wearing it...

Hmmm, I think I'd rather "ball out"' with my IWC Big Pilot, Panerai 233 and 312 or Cartier Tank Louis. Enjoy your sweet Rolex Air King, sport.

Meh... maybe? I think I'm a bit clouded by the fact that you typically see the watch with the 2 rivets on both sides of the band which make it seem a lot more military/casual in nature (see the off band in the image below). With the stitched leather sans rivets I'd say it looks a lot *more* dressy, but it's still an aviation/military styled watch no matter how you slice it. It's versatile, but if the plan is to purchase a "dress" watch, it isn't an exact fit. Personal preference plays in a ton here... agree to disagree.

Yeah, that was a mistake, had started to type something and then deleted part of a sentence. Was thinking that some 38mm watches that I like even though they're not my "optimal size" might not look as great on someone of larger build. 40mm can still look small on some people but again, personal preference plays a big part. Some people want a larger watch face, often times smaller for a "dress" watch is no problem though.

I'm here. I haven't read the responses but this is a mildly tough one.
Orient, Alpha, Citizen, Seiko and Timex should be on your short list.
But personally I would look at a classic aviator dress watch like the B-Uhr. Change the strap on this one and it's $79
Or do you need something dressier than this?

I got this one in the mail today:

Also I wanted to specifically mention this one. It can be bought for around $200. The Seiko Monster is a dressy dive watch and it's automatic. It has a little workhorse movement and it looks good.

Yea, I don't like the rivets at all...they don't even match the finish of the case. If you're going to add detail do it right.
I wear my A flieger, albeit not traditionally faced, with everything...and with the factory band I purchased it looks great with suits.
It's a 40, but you almost can't find a watch with a larger dial to case width ratio.

I think the best bang for the buck these days is probably Steinhart. But it's around $350 so it blows his budget.

Do you know of any budget manual winding pilots?
