If this were a situation where it was a next door neighbor, no big deal. But I'm not driving 5 miles with fragile items on shitty Louisiana roads because FedEx can't print the correct address on the label. And the Distribution Center didn't want to pick them up.

he's just looking for approval to open them.

Not so simple when the shite takes up a truck bed and it's all fragile.
It was being bounced around in the back of a fed ex truck. It will be fine in your silverado.

Nah, I'm really not. Like I said, it's a bunch of shite I don't need. I already know what it is because the PO was taped on the outside of the box, and the original company had me remove it to verify the PO#. It's a bunch of home decor crap.
And it's 4 big boxes of fragile crap. I'm not loading this stuff into my truck to move it across town simply because FedEx printed the address wrong.
I've had packages delivered to my house before that were for neighbors, and I just brought them to them. The distribution center specifically told me to call FedEx and NOT to bring them there.

I think I would drive 20 miles to deliver someones package. Dopamine hits for doing good deeds are pretty good.

So this doesn't relate to the OP at all, but my wife (no pics) ordered some art supply stuff for the kids, and they never showed. She went back to the FB group for our neighborhood where several moms had ordered from this company that was linked, and they were apparently being shipped to Birmingham England. So hopefully some quarantined English kids are at least getting to paint and color.

Just bring them back to the center down the road.
Imagine if someone took the time to do that for your packages.
You would probably appreciate it

OK, so you are going to bring it to the Dist. Center, and they won't reply on getting it back. So what day does the trash man come? Put it to the curb.

same thing happened to me with ups a few weeks back. heard the knock on the down and when i got downstairs we was getting in his truck. i looked at the label and it wasn't for me. i jogged out toward the truck and yelled to the driver but he just roared off. called ups they said someone would come pick it up. it sat by the front door for a week. i now have 1000 gloves.

her: what should i do?
me: keep it:
her i don't need/want this shite
Me: take it to the dist center
her: i'm not hauling this shite to the dist ctr
me: sell it
her: i don't want the hassle

Last Christmas my grandma's presents for my kid were delivered to a wrong address apparently. A Nigerian guy came to my door to drop it off and said they delivered it to him.
Seems like a feel good story but wait.... Everything in the box had been opened and messed with. And of course the cash in the card was gone.

This happened to me a few weeks ago. Long story short, after USPS said I had to pay to return the package, I ended up throwing it in the garbage.

I opened a package not realizing it wasn't mine (I was expecting one)... But it was a vibrator. Checked the packaging because that is some shite some of my goofy friends would do and it was the day after my birthday... Nope it was my neighbor's package from down the street. I repaired the packaging best I could and dropped it at the doorstep and ran off

If the address is close to you then take it to them. Wouldn't you want someone to do the same for you?

So I mean, what the frick do you want to do then? You just sound like a lazy SOB... you don’t want to open nor keep the shite. You also don’t want to bring it down there, but you also don’t want to load it in your vehicle so you can just drop it off at your next convenience..... so what the frick did you even post this shite for? What do you want from the OT?
Yea, morbid and I are on the same page
What a douche

Just go drop it off at the distribution center down the road. I would have done this on day 1.

He doesn’t want to do that
He also doesn’t want to keep it
But he also doesn’t want to make it easier on himself by just storing it in his vehicle until the next time he’s out running around
Really don’t know what to say at this point
