If they taste good they'd be extinct in 1 year.

Apparently, you can stay on his famous ranch (which are likely overrun with mean hippos)

Saddam had sharks in the royal pool.

Still better than Mariah Carey...

On a side note, during WW1 there was an initiative to introduce Hippos to the bayous of Louisiana to help with the nation wide meat shortage.

They better bring something bigger than a pirogue or they wouldn’t last very long.

All take 15 foot alligators over hippos any day. Those things are vicious and kill more than crocs in their native environments.

Viewers of The Grand Tour have seen some of Pablo’s hippos.

That wasn’t even close to the most disturbing thing on the Columbia mini series.

I live in Columbia and the hippos seem to be largely under control. I'm only aware of 3 and they are all safely in the zoo.

ETA: Oh, Colombia. NM, carry on.

Super aggressive and absolute missiles in the water. I'd take alligators in the waterways all day over hippos.

There's few things in a river more terrifying than a hippo swimming toward you (usually absurdly fast).
