Agility was good this am. Those plyo push-ups had me sweating good!
Feel like I should do another video this afternoon.

eccentric V pullups are the worst. My shoulders just don't work like that.

So I would say a few things about your current situation. 1. It's only been a few weeks. If this is your first time working out hard for a while then you may be losing fat, but your body is retaining water like crazy while it adapts. If that's the case, all that water weight should come off in at the most 4 weeks.
Ok that makes sense...

2. Do you know how much food you're getting in your diet? Are you meeting your macros? Following the nutrition guide?
Yes, Trying to, I been trying to transition from old way to new diet.. didn't want to make a drastic jump and feel like I was on a diet if you know what I mean

3. If you're seeing difference in your muscles, then it's possible you're gaining muscle on top of losing fat. I don't have a lot of fat to loose, and 10 weeks in to P90X3 I've actually gained a little weight, but I know none of it's fat.
Gotcha, I' have noticed that my upper body has changed.. mainly in my shoulders and back..

Now, do you have any idea what you're
supposed to be eating.
That's the problem.. when I took nutrition courses in college forever ago.. there was a certain way of thinking and of course like all things that has changed. So i'm kinda at cross roads b/c i'm truly a picky arse eater
quote:
I can use the Mifflin-St Jeor formula to calculate your daily caloric needs. I don't know your age so I'm just going to guess 35. With that I get 2903 for maintenance and 2323 for fat loss. Are you going over that?
Damn that was close I'm 34.. Some days I'm not sure if I make it to 2300.. dinners like I have Sat. w/my Dad.. wouldn't be surprised if I broke 3000+..
So I guess that would lead me to my next question.
Does it negatively affect me, if I only take in say 1500-1800 calories in a day?

actually thats fine if he is over weight, when he is getting low bf like you then he will have to adjust his protein intake up some though.
t25 actually says to eat 1600 cals.

FWIW, I didn't follow that when I did T25, but then again I wasn't trying to lose weight.

I love that feeling.
That post HIIT release of endorphins is almost like a drug.
And if you have a recovery drink immediately after, :orgasmic:

I read today that when consuming carbs, you should keep your carb to fiber ratio 5:1 or below. Is this a good rule to follow, anyone?
Sounds like serious bro science.
Just focus on the macros
Posted on 3/24/14 at 6:03 pm to DrTyger
yea im not saying you have to but its a good starting point as it will put most people around a 500 cal deficit( maybe more if they are bigger) and as long as protein is kept high muscle will be kept, atleast at the bf% that most of us are at. Those that are bigger can afford the bigger deficit because your body tends to burn fat easier the more you have. The key to everything is tracking, until you are like you are Doc where you dont need to, and to keep protein at atleast 1g per pound of lean body mass. That is unless you want to go keto.
