I saw Ozzy play in City Park in NOLA when I was 14 the week after he was banned from Detroit for biting the heads off of doves (or bats) on stage. Randy Rhoads was still alive at the time. Amazing show.

I thought he’s had this for a long time... his Parkinson is old enough to be a Parkinman.

And minus Randy Rhodes. Went on just after LeRoux who was late. Brad had just taken his place. Ozzy had blood on his head from the shave

Probably kept the disease in check.

I'm fricking jealous. I'm a little too young to have seen Ozzy with Randy or Metallica with Cliff.

You are correct. I mis-remembered about Randy Rhoads. But you say "Brad"...wasn't it Zakk Wylde that replaced Randy Rhoads?

Brad Gillis replaced Randy Rhoads before Zakk joined the band.

That's right. The dude from Night Ranger. Now it's coming back to me. The malt, barley and bong resin are hampering my memory.

He should have effectively been retired by now and a point to which many wouldn't argue, but it's just tough to see Neil Peart and now this. Hopefully he keeps the faith and lives out in peace.
