I've never seen the OT so angry about fatties finding a tool to finally lose weight
Why do y'all care so much?

It's amazing isn't it?
I enjoy these threads just to watch the fitness police rage-post over literally thousands of people getting healthier. And then some clown a couple of pages back is now on about stolen valor?

Had a lady tell me over the weekend "I'd rather lose my hair and be thinner than be fat with hair"
I said "fair enough" and moved on

Freedom is a wonderful thing.

I love these threads. OT hates fatties. OT hates people taking a drug that makes them not fat. OT becomes confused and ends up fighting itself over the issue.
The same happens with Russia over in the Political Board. This board might actually be Russian AI.

Many people are taking these newer classes of drugs to control diabetes, not for weight loss only. Mounjaro, Ozempic, and others paired with the likes of Farjixa results in weight loss and much lower A1C levels.

Almost as good as "I haven't eaten at McDonald's in 73 years!!". followed up with a 30 page "why is the shake machine broken again!!?" thread.
Never change OT

Plus significant Cardiovascular improvement, Blood pressure and cholesterol too.
Not to mention the substantial reduction in long term health care costs--eventually will help lower rates and taxpayer burdens for everyone
But hey, those lazy bastards deserve to lose their hair and die an early death for eating too many Twinkies....

I know tons (no pun intended) of people using these in some form or fashion and I can say 100% of them look healthier and happier than I've seen them in ages.
Not a single person has regretted it and so far nobody walking around blind.

That’s the whole debate. But idiots like you and CAD are incapable of understanding it

If you haven't heard it, fast forward to 35 seconds. This is all I can find where its posted.

It's also an example of why people who take these medications need to do so under doctor supervision. This happened to someone I know and her doctor corrected it immediately by changing her diet to include more protein.

All these Ozempic users are just going to end up with a shite ton of permanent side effects and will revert to being fatties again. Laziness has consequences.

is this where the people who complain about fat people being fat come to complain about fat people not being fat anymore?

Fat people that get cancer usually aren’t fat anymore.

It blows my mind how many people are on this stuff instead of trying to eat better and exercise. Its hard work, but you're not filling your body with a synthetic chemical with awful side effects. I don't get it.
I wish everyone had the will power to not be fat as well, but the reality is they don't. So I've come to accept a large percentage of the population is better off on these meds. Being fat is worse for your body than these drugs, I believe, so it'll help take pressure off the healthcare system. Fewer people getting all of the comorbidities associated with being overweight could potentially reduce healthcare costs for everyone.
In fact, I hope one day Medicaid covers these drugs, in a cheap generic form obviously, for fat poors.

Out of curiosity why would you care?

THEY SHOULD STAY FAT AND TAKE 17 PILLS INSTEAD OF BEING SKINNY AND TAKING ONE!!!

Yeah in my circle of 20ish close friends, I know 4 people on it and they look and feel great. That's 20% of our friends
