For some it’s not as simplistic as you’re laying out here. Now while I would say folks don’t need to rely on these weight loss meds for long term use, I absolutely say they can certainly be helpful for some initial results and free up some weight that might be making exercise a bit difficult.

I say the big thing in my book is figuring at what point do the meds help enough with a good boost but then backing off and letting the weight loss momentum do its thing to let folks propel themselves forward without the drugs.

Laugh all you want bro, I’ve been there and done it. At some point when you see results in a tangible fashion it becomes a HUGE self perpetuating factor.

1. Ozempic is for diabetes. Wegovy is for weight loss.

2. You don’t understand because you are a narrow minded know it all.

There is absolutely nothing conclusive to derive from any level of research on this.

Just less calories than you need to maintain your weight. The math is simple. I just dropped 20 lbs on a cut recently and ate whatever I wanted, just portion control.

That’s certainly better than doing nothing, but insulin resistance can be reversed by a keto or carnivore diet, and most obese people, if not all, are suffering from that condition. Insulin resistance is the devil.

Toxic is probably the wrong word, but describing these as just peptides like they’re BCAAs or some shite is just as dumb

it is amazing the little amount of science presented in this riveting discussion on glucagon like petptides.

Most people don't know what it is like to eat enough yet your body keeps asking for more because all the cells in your body are craving the glucose that is in your blood yet you don't have the proper hormone to move it from your blood stream into your cells. But sure, lets demonize those people because we are different than them.

Class action lawsuits are built into the pricing structure for EVERY drug. It’s the cost of doing business in the US

I have a feeling that the whole Ozempic debacle is going to end up horribly bad for many folks.

Every weight loss, shortcut wonder drug in my lifetime has.

If you want to lose weight stop shoving garbage down your throats.

I’m hungry all time, I eat lunch and dinner and don’t snack. I know I’m not going to fricking die because I don’t eat that nutter butter and have a Diet Coke at 2:30pm.

Stop being such a pussy and take control of yourself

I used to have a six pack, but I had eat all that diet stuff and make adjustments to food. Frick that, I’d rather eat and enjoy my food.
