God must have bestowed ignorance upon them. Who are we to question the almighty?

Sounds like your run of the mill protestant tards. Fine with going to church. Not shaking anyone's hand.

Well, Tom Hanks disagrees with you, and he's in his mid-60s with the comorbidity factor of diabetes.

Our associate pastor after the worship last week told everybody - Good to see everyone. Turn to your neighbor and give them a high five

And I looked around and everybody was kind of like - eh no thanks

We had Mass but used extra safety protocols. Only the priest received Precious Blood. There was no collection plate (two large baskets were at the entrance instead). No handshakes for the Sign of Peace.

The Raleigh Diocese cancelled masses this weekend until further notice.

Last week we stopped handshakes and only received the host. Still took up the collection though.

Reddit has a map showing what changes are in place by diocese.

You technically don't have to go - it's OK to skip Mass if you have a good reason - but Kihneman hasn't stopped Mass or given any explicit dispensation so far. He has closed the schools.

Seems like the more urbanized areas are taking greater precautions which makes sense.

I go to a very small church, and we still had services. Elderly people with some health issues were there. We all avoided handshaking and hugging though.

Our church has services this weekend but no handshaking and no collection taken.

Going to only streaming services online (which we had already been doing for years...our church has its own app) starting next weekend. All classes, bible studies, etc postponed for now.

Your church does know that's how the plague spread so fast right?

Apparently you don’t know how SS ‘entitlement’ works. When you are mature enough to get a job, you too will start paying SS taxes and your employer will contribute an equal amount in your name. That money is taken from every paycheck - for 50 years. Entitlement my arse. I can’t live long enough to get the $ I contributed back out.

Sounds like your arse. pastor doesn’t realize there should be a difference between Church and the postgame debriefing for Braxxtynn’s U-10 Blazerz.
