I understand what you’re saying but the employee was basically stealing from him. She was leaving work for over an hour and not clocking out. Two wrongs don’t make a right but the employee is to blame also in this. Be a responsible human being and do your job.

Before we just dismiss this as a man frustrated at his employees, ask yourself what you would do if a grown man spoke to your wife or daughter that way.

Cursed at them for being unreliable at work? Im sure nothing and tell them do better

Naw. The entire arse chewing gets bad, especially as it’s being administered to a young girl. Honestly, if it were my daughter, I’d probably need to speak with the guy in person. I’m not saying id do anything physical, but he would know how upset I was about how he spoke to my daughter.

There’s no way you can truly respect someone that you speak to that way.

BTW, there’s also a text string from him to the girls that’s pretty nasty also

Then maybe he’s the one that should be looking for another job, just like he screamed at his employee to do.

Thousands of people are already doing that. The restaurant owner was stolen from. He is the victim here

Boo hoo.

Hire better people then.

And don’t harass them either.

I got sucked into a texting thread from my buddies in Monroe about this dude yesterday. Don’t know him and not a huge fan of the restaurant anyway but we have mutual friends. Basically everyone is ready to burn this guy at the stake from whatever that was on FB. I didn’t even bother with listening since I don’t even live there anymore so no dog in this fight but this is typical sop North Monroe fashion, where you are guilty until proven innocent and then you are really still guilty.

Trouble? He broke no laws- He’s not resigning his Police Jury seat- the young ladies dad or boyfriend hasn’t kicked his arse, so this will be gone by next week like a fart in the wind.

He's an a-hole who was caught on video being an a-hole,

The a-hole is the one who secretly recorded him and ran with it to FB. Handle your shite face to face. Like a man…or some stupid broad who has her feelings hurt because he yelled. And they wonder why they make terrible bosses and employees. That’s chickenshit to record someone without their knowledge just waiting to play the gotcha game. Middle aged women and their social media attachment are the bane of society.

I’ll bet she didn’t record him when he was polite and held the door open for her or when he gave her car boost when her battery was dead. Nope. Gotta play gotcha.

The social media lynch mob on this is something to see.

Yep, its the typical self-entitled 'Kareeens' and soy boys feigning outrage.

I think the worker left the her position at the job without clocking out.

I am thinking to myself, this little princess had her little feely-wheely's hurt because she left her job without clocking out?

I can't tell you how many times I got chewed out by my Sargent when I was in the military. Think Sargent Carter from Gomer Pyle.
I am thinking what a pathetic bunch of soft, weak snow flakes.

The hyenas and jackals in the local news station is having a field day with this one. There is a lot more important things going on around Ouachita parish and they surrounding area than this.
Shows how desperate the local news media is for ratings and relevance.

I may be wrong on this but isn't illegal per FCC rules to secretly record a telephone conversion without the other party's knowledge and consent?

If so, someone's gotta a lot of 'splainin to do.

It’s illegal to record a conversation with neither party aware of it. In this instance, the girl recording was aware of the recording so this is not illegal:

That’s the way I understand the law.

I was wondering when this would make it here. My first reaction was, damn what a piece of shite. That's no way to treat your employees. Then I've watched the Facebook fat house wife Karen brigade all unite trying to burn the guy at the stake, calling for the his life to be ruined forever and my position kinda softened. So my takeaway is Shane should be a better person and social media should be abolished.

Right? This is ridiculous, as if we all haven't said not nice things that if secretly recorded and spread around wouldn't reflect well on us.
It's chickenshit behavior

I find the public apologies people give these days so canned... i don't have an opinion on this incident specifically but it's so odd how they all follow the exact same formula

That's because it's all perfunctory bs they don't mean. It's not that surprising that people giving apologies they don't mean would follow a similar formula.
