Not saying its right, it freaking sucks and I hope he gets better/recovers (if possible), but this isn't like walking down your street and getting randomly shot.
This is as minor as walking into an opposing gang's neighborhood, then knocking over the mailbox. It gives them ANY reason to get you.

Any possibility that he may have attempted suicide after being sentenced and ended up brain dead. He was worth more to the little fat man alive and well than dead.

We don't even know if Otto really did this. They may have just targeted him and trumped up the charge.

Well, we do know his dumb arse when to North Korea voluntarily. That was stupid. If I decide to take a sight seeing trip to Mosul to interview ISIS members, then I should probably expect to not return. That's essentially what this guy did. While I wish he wouldn't have died, it doesn't surprise me.
