This really sucks for the kid and his family. 22 is young and it's a shame he'll probably never recover from this.

If he makes and back and does recover he got lucky. I'm amazed NK gave him up. More amazed that the parents thought there son going to NK was a good idea. Hope he recovers.

Lol. He's not "waking up." He likely has anoxic brain injury from respiratory failure.
And antibiotics play no role in treating botulism...unless he got it from a wound.

y'all realize he was arrested for 'taking down a poster of kim jung' and sentenced to a year of HARD LABOR then they beat/lobotomized him so he was unable to explain what happened to him and now they're giving him 'back' to the US.
