It's officially hot swamp arse season here in Louisiana & my (formerly) trust Degree stick isn't getting the job done.

What are my fellow OTers using that's giving the best results & not all the chemical side effects?

Degree.

I have tried Harry’s for the past week. Redwood. Works but smells like arse.

I try to use nothing with aluminum, supposedly it is linked to Alzheimer's and I saw what that did to my grandfather and aunt. Have yet to find a good one like that which actually works.

I like Secret, "Baby Powder" flavor. Not a fan of man deodorant.

I use Gillette clinical strength gel and still sweat my arse off. I probably sweat more than most people, though. I'd give that a shot.

ETA: I have been meaning to try the Duke Cannon brand. Has anyone tried that?

After years of staining and ineffective antiperspirant, I made the switch last year during COVID since I wasn't going in the office anyway. Still working well. Much less wetness, although it does wear off more quickly.

I use Native, which is some woke expensive brand but it works. I've looked for alternatives but a lot of people who switched go back because they claim there isn't anything as good.

The 20% Mitchum or whatever was what I used before I switched.

Mitchem. I use to struggle with finding a quality deodorant for SE La. 20 years ago, a co-worker recommend it to me.
Hands down he best I've found.

I've been using Old Spice's Fiji scented deodorant + antiperspirant lately. The wife loves it therefore I love it.

Tried it when I was a teenager. It felt like putting glue in my armpits.
