I find far East Texas is noticeably trashier than the rest of the state. The only reason I can give is that it’s closest to Louisiana and a trashier influence.

There used to be Texas Hammer billboards all over the place from Beaumont to Houston. I guess maybe they are gone now, but there were tons of them.

Also those Troopers posted up by the TX/LA border.

That is always welcoming.

While I agree with your sentiment, the last time I went through Beaumont I-10 was a shithole. It's been a few months, but I doubt it's all done.

I went through a month ago and it's a mess between Orange and Beaumont. As a matter of fact, I can't remember a time when it hasn't been a mess in the last 30 years.

But all things considered, Texas does have much better roads than Louisiana. I hate saying it, but it's true.

What exactly does this billboard war accomplish?
That you’re raising a quitter?

Back in my day, we counted Burma Shave signs and if we missed one, the old man made us walk home on our hands backwards.

The Alabama landscape has a bunch of these (obviously they say “Alabama” not “Colorado” on them):

No.

Such advertising should be outlawed.

The Supreme Court fricked up when they opened the floodgates on this shite.

The nation’s largest outdoor advertising company is based in Baton Rouge.

Louisiana has 1.4% of the US population, and 11% of the nation’s billboards.

Outside of Washington, DC, Baton Rouge has the highest per-capita number of Lawyers in the country.

These two combine for the perfect storm.

You must be crossing texas up by Shreveport cause I-10 as soon as you cross into Texas has been under construction for 10+ years and is still not close to being finished. Those 10-12 miles of interstate are dangerous as it gets.

William Gee and McKernan do have a lot of signs...come on down to San Antonio where you can see all the Jim Adler, Texas Law Guns and many other injury lawyers.

Yall sure do bitch alot about the shite in louisiana alot but its everywhere and yall need to take off your "Texas is so great" sunglasses.

I prefer Dudley DeBosier. They’re the official injury lawyers of the LSU Fightin Tigers.

Its simply name recognition.

Morris Bart (or someone like him) would be the first name that pops into your head IF you were in a position where you felt representation was needed in an injury situation.

Thats what all that is about. Getting that first call from a prospective client.
