What are some of the better OT'er vs a celeb fisticuffs ?
I had a throwdown with Jim Kelly back in the day.
I walked away, he needed help ( OK he was falling down drunk when it started)
and Mark McGuire wanted to kick my arse in the dome but I pointed to my drunk friend and they threw him out instead

Me and Bob Barker were playing golf in a tournament as partners. We argued and threw down and well.......he finally beat me.

Kim Holden and her ex Wayne use to own Blue Moon Tavern on Focis and Merty Rd, now B.J.'s... Every Wendesday night, all the local media people would meet there and pretty much get plastered...
Me in my drunken state told Bob Breck he had the only job where you can be 90% wrong and still keep a job....

Joe Theisman got into a verbal dispute with another player at a craps table at the Horseshoe Casino in Tunica after a Tennessee Titans game (they played ion Memphis one season). Theisman took offense to a comment about the much younger woman he was with. As an executive of the casino I tried to calm Theisman down with some comps, but he insisted I throw the other player, and his friends out. When I suggested that he might like to play at a different table Theisman became incensed. I had to have security escort him off property. HIs female companion stood there looking mortified the whole time.
Wasn't exactly a fight, but it was satisfying to humble a celebrity with an inflated ego. Theisman was the total opposite of John Daly who was always pleasant, even when losing big, to other guests and casino employees.
