I'm hoping for sarcasm.

I'm the opposite. I like to get little tastes of each. If the OP is more like you though, I'd go with B. Just experiencing London, Brussels, Amsterdam, Lucerne, and Paris is a treat. While I didn't go to London, I did go to the other 4 locations my first time in Europe, and I had a blast. So maybe I'm biased, but A is a great fricking route.

London was great because it was finally nice to hear people speaking English again after being in France and Italy.

Really? You'd be fun to travel with.

The first one, I love Heidelberg, and the Black Forest.

1 but I wouldn't do it in any less than a month. Traveling every 2 or 3 days is a beat down.

Europe is being taken over by refugees right now. Big crisis but not getting much coverage over here.

Why not go from Baton Rouge to Houston? Same miles but way cheaper

Mix the two.

Though if it's either/or I'd pick 1. Lucerne is massively underrated as a trip destination. Take the ferry there and go hiking. Mount Titlis and Pilatus are absolutely phenomenal day trips. Went about 7 years ago, been wanting to go back since.

When I went we spend 4 days in Engelberg about a 20 minute drive from Lucerne. Brother got married in Meggenhorn Castle.

This US trip is missing the best parts of Colorado.

Cemetery at Normandy is the most inspiring ace I have ever been. But I went in my forties, so I wasn't focused on fun. The food in France is unbelievable, but it was easier in England because of the language .

I know this doesn't answer the question, but it seems to me that you're trying to fit way too much into the trip. You'll be running around like a mad person, and will miss so much.

+1

You'll still have a good time but won't appreciate the places you're visiting as much. For this reason, I vote choice 2, because you will be visiting smaller towns and only in one country.

Thanks, but I've been to Rome, Florence, Venice, and Pisa.

For how long, 12 hours each?

3 days Rome, 36 hours Florence, 48 hours Venice, 3 hours Pisa.

Amazing trip. No regrets. If I go back, I can take my time because I saw the highlights on my first trip.
