Started back working out last monday and have dropped 7 pounds. I started at 228 pounds and I'm 6'2. I do cardio and weights at the gym. I usually do 30 minutes on the treadmill at 4.0 incline at 4.1 speed, then I lift weights, and in the afternoon I walk 2 miles. I do this 5 times a week. I drink a gallon of water a day and eat healthy. Any other tips?

You should lift before you do cardio. It is safer and more efficient that way.

Good plan. Running isn't really the best cardiovascular but over time it will work. Stick with staying active and the pounds will come off if your diet is under Control.

Personally I would rather just get strong.

He should be lifting WHILE doing cardio. Literally grab the 30 lb dumbbells and military press that shite while you are walking on inclined treadmill. Total body experience. The beach will be longing for your body by March.
