Isn't this pretty much the case with every court case....somebody vs somebody....one of them is lying or at least wrong based on some lie of sorts.

This guy is an idiot, but 90% of the time....who cares if someone lies to a judge. Most judges are trash anyways, they're basically the epitome of the worst lawyers and some how they get into the position of being a judge. I don't know where you're from, but in South Louisiana it's probably 99% crooked judges, lawyers, and politicians.

Not to sound harsh, but...

If you didn’t hear back from the court in Georgia, why haven’t you been calling them? If you’re concerned about making this straight, that’s what you should have been doing.

Once this situation was all messed up and wasn’t just dealing with a normal speeding ticket, you should have hired a lawyer.

I think you should try for speeding tickets in North and South Carolina too.

If I was your lawyer, I would advise you to slow down.

There is only one thing for you to do: Cannonball Run. If you make it in under four days without getting stopped, they have to drop all traffic related charges. It's in the Constitution.

Also, everything about your story leads me to believe that your favorite snack growing up was paint chips.

Our judicial system is a fricking racket. All they give a frick about is getting more of your money, so they can waste it on bullshite.

If he wasn't under oath it was not perjury.

on topic...In Ga. you will NOT go back to jail for this. If you get pulled they will just take you down a country road and shoot you.

Maybe the DA who you think is a jerk went into law because of losing his whole family and cute puppy due to lying speeders...Tough Break, jerk.

Like they really give a frick about that? They care about money, period.

If they really wanted to stop it, they would take more people's licenses away. Same with DUI's. But they don't (for the most part).

No Georgia statute of limitation in relation to warrants.

While this is true, there's no easy way around it. Small town cops gotta have their brand new Tahoes and tactical gear. State troopers gotta help their broke-arse state stay afloat.

I like speeding as much as the next guy but when I get popped I pay the ticket and continue living my life. Most places won't report it to insurance if you pay an extra few bucks.

Have you tried looking at the website for the county in which this happened? Some may have a search feature to look up outstanding warrants.

You better handle your business before you get pulled again, god forbid your kids are in the car when they see their Dad thrown in the back of the cop car.

You need to get on the phone and start cutting some checks to clear all this shite out.

Maybe I missed it... but do you even have a drivers license at all at this point? Much less insurance?
