This is true
But it doesn't excuse OP being a total moron...repeatedly.
Most people have this "oh frick it, i'll blow off a court appearance, what could happen, right?" attitude at 19. Only stupid people have it later in life.

Not really. But when the judge asks you a flat our question, you lie, and you get called on it, you are going to chap that judge's arse pretty good when you make a run for it.

Yes to both. I got those 3 tickets in something like an 18 month span. The problem was that I paid the one in Kentucky when I got a notice that if I didn't pay it in 30 days my license would be suspended, but Tennessee didn't get the fax from KY, or lost it or something and I didn't follow up.
So before I got notified about my license go suspended (this is 6 months or so after the ticket in KY), I hit a speed trap in rural GA where the limit drops for no apparent reason and there is a cop in the bushes. Then about a year after the GA ticket, I got one in VA and forgot to pay it, completely my fault.
3 tickets in 18 months isn't that damn bad and I haven't gotten another since. I drive a lot for business and am absent minded.
