What do yall think about a Husky or an Australian Shepherd?
These are the dogs we already have in the family:
2 Corgi's
1 English Bulldog
1 chesapeake bay retriever
Trying to find a dog that is not that common and is different from what we already have in our family

Go to the nearest shelter. Pick the one that smiles and comes up to check you out, and isn't cowering from or stressed out by the other dogs.

A guy I work with has an Aus Shep and he loves it. Just have to shave them in the summer time.

i have always thought it is cruel to keep a husky in Louisiana.
as for ausi shepherds, they are great dogs and very smart. If i were to get one of these, i would likely train it on agility courses if it had an aptitude for them.

I know of a 1 year old lab mix that is so sweet, gets along with other dogs and house trained. Her owners can't afford a dog anymore. If I could get mriluv to agree to it, I would adopt her in a heartbeat. Her name is Koda. She is staying at the house of an animal rescue friend of mine.
