They sell your info to the local medical facilities so they can prepare for your eventual visit.

Right now we are at 1 and they are just having people “check in” on the app when they arrive.

Uh no. Chick-Fil-A has had Geofencing for 3 years now and can tell when you're there. You can override it and make em start making your shite early though.

And McDonalds only makes you checkin for curbside. Drive thru and Counter they start making when you pay.

Your food isn’t going to be any better just because you had the vape addict behind the counter take your order.

Seems like something only a fatty would do

Also I don't even eat fast food nearly as much as I used to anyways

You’d rather sit in line and pray the idiot behind the speaker takes your order correctly instead of ordering/paying ahead and just showing up?

As if there is any way to know if you got given someone else’s order. No thanks.

So a fatty would use an app, but a non-fatty would order at the counter? OK.

I probably eat it once or twice a year, and get it for my kids maybe one or two more times a year than that. But the apps make ordering a heck of a lot easier and more efficient.

Careful, fast food is one of those bipolar OT topics where everyone regularly shits on something, and then shits on people that don't love the thing they love to shite on.

Most places are incapable of getting an order correct. The app helps by adding another layer to cause more frickups.

This is bizarre to me. Every app I have always has a constant list of deals. I posted one a week or so ago on the the Food Board that I found particularly good: spend $10 at Popeyes and get a 6 piece order of wings for free which is $6.

They almost all have rewards where you usually get something like 10% back in "credit" for all the in-app purchases.

95% of the time I find apps to save time and a similar percentage of time it also saves money. It is a win-win in my book. Not directed at you but I also find people will bitch even if they are hung with a new rope.

I love the apps and self checkout. I don't have to talk to anyone, no one bothering me for a tip, usually quicker and it is more accurate. Also sometimes cheaper and/or some type of deal or rewards.

I used to order from the sonic app when we would go to the lake house at toledo bend. As soon as I got to Zwolle I would place the mobile order. By the time I got to Many it was ready to be picked up. Saved some time.

Why does McDonalds ask if you'll be using the mobile app when taking your order in the drive thru?
