Go to flora Bama, find sunburned divorcee with some shoulder tats, get her wasted, bring her back to best western and put on a show for the kiddies

Last year we rented a beach house on Ft Morgan Rd. Much better than staying at these crowded condos. Went to private beach in Johnson Beach, FL.

I am not paying $350 a night for the state park lodge. The Omni in San Diego gaslamp district was the same price last time we stayed. Y'all baws pay a lot for the redneck riviera I see.

We paid around $200-220/night last summer

I just entered random dates because a Hilton property should be nice and I have visited the park before. Sticker shock

The Tourquoise is nice but the condo rooms are little small. Overall, the condo is about 2400 square feet which is a little small for my tastes but I don’t spend much time in the room.

Sounds like you pay a lot for a hotel in San Diego to me.

I wouldn't pay $350 for it either, but just for context it is a Hilton branded, brand new facility, and is pretty nice. It's not your typical state park lodge. I stayed there a couple of nights for a conference and I think the rate was more like $200. Not sure I'd stay there for a family vacation though either. It felt more geared towards conferences.
