I have a 2009 528i, it’s better than any car I could buy now. Naturally aspirated in-line 6, manual transmission, hydraulic steering, and all sorts of over engineered bits and features all over it.

Got a leak and some worn parts as well.

May as well look at the 5.

Fred needs to ban you from all car threads. We are well aware of your BMW.

Don’t see many of those any more. The GT versions were pretty cool little cars.

You’re a fricking idiot. A thread specifically about...you’re just a fricking idiot.

Over half the Porsches ever built are still on the road. No other manufacturer can claim that including Lexus.

Yep. Pretty fun car. You can still find them for fairly cheap.

I like them.

First Porsche i ever drove was a 944.

I still want a 944 Turbo as a 3rd or 4th car.

I have an 05 645Ci. Bought it for cash with about 100k on it and now have around 150k. It is really fun to drive but I have replaced every single belt, hose, sensor you can imagine and some you can’t. Recent active power steering hose cost me $450. I’ve replaced the transmission too.

I basically have a monthly note (for repairs) and a wife that wants to kill me. You will spend a lot of cash to keep it on the road. Helps if you have an indie mechanic you trust and who lets you buy parts online. If I didn’t have a mechanic who let me buy my own parts I would have gotten rid of it a long tome ago.

Know who's going to work on it before you buy it.

Me? Technically a 951 and yes. Chipped, Sport Seats, Koni Adjustibles, 968 MO30 Adjustable Swaybars, Tial Wastegate, Adjustable Boost, Exhaust, Fuchs or Speedlines and several other things done to it that I'm forgetting. 74K miles.

Not a very good ratio so far in opinions that would recommend. Maybe if I want a BMW I should just find an old 2002 or something made before the days of sensors and electronic stuff that breaks. LOL

They’re great cars. Not sure what you were expecting from here.
