This usually comes from those that are IFBB pros or guys on social media who con with get rich quick schemes, or guys who make 50k a year but pose with Lambos they rented for 4 hours, usually those there are trashy. Those that in fact, often fail to get 1% better each day. You never hear doctors say "1% better each day". IFBB pros are too dumb to realize that's impossible. 1.01^365 is 38x. So a guy who can bench 200 would be able to bench 7,800 lbs after one year. After 5 years, 1 percent better each day is 1.01^1825 or 77 million times better. So 1% better each day would be able to bench 15.4 billion pounds if started out at 200 pounds 5 years ago.

Let's put an end to "1% better each day" If you're gonna use anything, 0.05% better "up to 1 year timespan" each day may be more applicable.

While it's not a newly published book, James Clear's "Atomic Habits" is a fairly current example of one of many sources (business productivity/management/leadership/corporate talk horseshite) to be held responsible for why you hear this "Expression" in day to day usage, that is if you do hear it, if you don't hear it that's because you still work at the feed store and your only social contact is Joe Dale, and he just says shite like 'Howyafigur?" a thousand times a day.

It's called an "Expression", ask Joe Dale to explain it to you.

You take it "in the spirit it was intended," if you will, not literally....you don't calculate shite.

Do you really not get it or are you trying to show off on the internet by pretending to have the arse-Burgers?

That actually has a literal meaning. I have no idea what the OP is talking about, but it sounds like he's fallen for some social media scammers. I bet the hot Russian chicks who want to be friends with him aren't real either.
