I'm sorry Asians value education more than other races (apparently).
I'm sorry that not every woman is 5 10 with supermodel looks.
I'm sorry that every guy is not a world class athlete or musician.

Public school admission in NYC is no joke. For the most part, the zoned schools are reflective of the neighborhood. The open enrollment schools are Fair East Side. The selective enrollment schools are impressive. There is a tremendous amount of effort put into the math/English testing beginning in 3rd grade so students can get into a good middle school then a good high school.
There are a lot of private schools in NYC, but many are $50k-$100k per year. If your kid doesn’t get into a selective school, you move out the city.

Right you are but we may infer a lot from the populations at large in NYC of Asians and blacks and Jews and whites and then at who all got in.
Sf also has competition for the best public school. Asians now rule.
Blacks were never on top.
only 4% of blacks are in the superior category on the standardized test in CA.
Same as Latinos.

They aren’t playing sports. They are purely studying 24/7 for a test. My sons school is 50% Asain and we rarely see any Asain kids playing any local sports. The Asians in my neighborhood do not interact with anyone. The ones next to me are renters purely for the great school district we live in. I haven’t interacted with them in 2 years. They drive into the garage and close the door, that’s all we see of them. Their kids don’t play in the yard, don’t ride the bus nor are they at the pool in the summertime. It’s actually kind of annoying how little they interact with the community
