On a scale from 1-10, how much do you hate carpet?

Hate it - 9. When we bought this house it had it in 2 of the 4 bedrooms. It was brand new at the time but it will come out when it starts looking nasty.

If you don't like carpet in the living room and bedrooms then you're a godless person.

No help for you, enjoy hell.

Not a fan. Have it upstairs for the kids, it helps with noise and concussions. I just put an indoor/outdoor in a basement flip that was really nice.

I don’t mind a little fur down there on her.

If you mean on a house, 8.

If you don't like carpet in the living room

Our starter home had carpet in the living room. It was new construction.

The first night we were there my wife spilled a glass of red wine all over the carpet. She panicked, ran to the kitchen, grabbed a spray cleaner and sprayed it until it covered the stain.

She scrubbed it for several minutes as best she could. Next, the carpet started changing colors. Turns out she'd grabbed Tilex. Carpet ripped out of the living room the day after we moved in

Well groomed landing strip is preferable, wife keeps it that way, so I'm in.

Carpet is great especially in bedrooms.

Hardwood looks good but what is the first thing 99% of people do with it... Place a big rug over it.

I wouldn’t jail them, but find something better to do! There’s no money in installing shitty carpet.
