Yeah I saw a post where he said that he hired a friend to do his booking. Said friend is a plumber and is learning as he goes. Dude should have taken the record deal because he seems lost on the business side of things.

No doubt he’s lost a lot of money, and that’s fine if he’s ok with that. The problem he’s going to run into if he hasn’t already is that everyone else in the business isn’t ok with losing money. He’s going to quickly find himself at odds with a whole host of individuals and entities. The message he’s essentially sending to venues, promoters and the like is that there is no money to be made with him. once they realize that, the opportunities are gonna dry up… if he’s smart and wants to remain idealistic and help the common man, his best bet is to get comfortable with the idea of making money and then use his platform and financial power to help those he sings about being in need.

Some of the early interviews of Anthony he admits that he's just a guy trying to make it along with everyone else. He even said that he has abused alcohol, and tobacco in the past, maybe even drugs. He admitted that he was not a "good" person. He wrote a song that a lot of people liked and connected with. Some people now expect him to be something that he is not and are bashing him for it. They are the stupid ones.

Nah. He’s just an idealist who was thrust into fame and the spotlight and is trying hard not to sound like a hypocrite. Fame came to him in the form of a song about the plight of the common man. Now he’s face to face with ridiculous wealth. He’d probably be more comfortable making money if he’d have gotten famous singing about a different subject matter. He’s obviously struggling for answers in that regard.

If you turned his song into an OT post I would bet 80% of the replies would be saying "you voted for this" and you'd get called a whiny pussy. Klark would you declare your post "centrist" and Roger would tell you how things were so much worse back in his day when he had to build his own house from scratch in between work, school and substance abuse.
