Living in NW Arkansas I can vouch for, unequivocally, without a doubt, no room for error, and with 100% certainty that OK drivers are the worst in the entire U.S.

I've seen them all. They make AZ drivers appear to be instructors by comparison for those of you familiar with AZ.

Living in OK I can without a doubt, no room for error, and 100% certainty tell you that you are correct.

Pull out in front of you without looking, drive 5 mile under the speed limit, left lane camping, red lights mean that you should get one more car through. If you start to go around them on the right they get pissed and all of the sudden want to do 5 miles over the speed limit.

This is already a law in a lot of places.

But this is necessary and needs to be enforced HEAVILY. Increase the fine and start pulling over for this left and right.

The most DANGEROUS THING people do on the road is drive slow in the left lane. More wrecks happen on highways from people having to pass right (illegal) or weave (super illegal) because of left-lane slow drivers than anything else, by a huge margin. Slow left lane drivers are endangering lives.

Yup - was behind 4 of them at different times this AM. One was not even going the speed limit. I just don't get it.

The one time I saw it used? I was stuck behind a car in the left lane going the same speed as the car in the right lane. There was a cop behind us and both cars were doing 65 in a 70. As my road rage starts to build, cop flips on the lights and pulls over the guy in front of me in the left lane. Justice

Because it's safer that way. Going slower on the interstate doesn't make you a safer driver, especially in the left lane.

Either move with the pace of the line or get over?

What the he'll does this mean? If the speed limit is 70, I cannot do that speed in the left lane? I am supposed to move out of the way to allow others to more easily break the law.

Step 1. Stay in right lane

Step 2. IF you approach someone going slower than you in right lane, pass them in the left lane.

Step 3. After passing the person(s) going slower than you, immediately get back over into the right lane.

Step 4. If you're in the left lane, and someone is approaching from behind going faster than you, get over to the right lane. If you don't, kill yourself.

If you are pulled over, you could get a ticket for upwards of $200.

They need to add that if you drive along side a right lane vehicle for more than a mile then the fine is $500. And at 2 miles your car gets crushed.

What part of "if you're not actively passing the car on the right, you should not be in the left lane" are you having trouble grasping?

soon as you pass somebody you need to move back over, even if you are gonna pass somebody else 10 seconds later

frick that. You can slow down before I do. I'm not getting trapped behind an 18 wheeler just because you feel the need to drive 85.

Well, then, you need to be ticketed along with the speeder, scofflaw.

"But he was doing something wrong too!" didn't work as an excuse when you were five and broke the rules, did it? It is interesting that you simpletons keep trying to use the same argument as adults to justify your flagrant disregard of the law.

bullshite, I'm in the process of passing. It takes that long to overtake someone if you're obeying correct distances behind vehicles.

If there's time for you to get stuck behind an 18 wheeler if you move aside for overtaking traffic, you're not passing that 18 wheeler yet, champ. Also, if you get stuck, that means there are a lot of overtaking cars behind you that you were impeding.

It doesn't fricking matter if you get stuck behind an 18 wheeler. It doesn't matter if someone else is going too fast. IT DOESN'T frickING MATTER. You're breaking the law.

How are you getting trapped? You let him pass on the left, then you pass on the left.

It's not that hard.

Unless you're just a dick.
