There were a couple of surviving Branch Davidians from Westlake, LA if memory serves me correct. Not sure whatever became of them.

Another coincidence: McVeigh was executed June 11, 2001, three months to the day before the WTC attacks.

I was in 4th grade at in Edmond, OK at the time. My school was about 13 miles away from the bombing and we felt the building shake. They told us one of the a/c units on the roof blew up.
The construction company my dad was working for at the time had some of the first civilians on scene removing rubble. Bad stuff.

I went up to Oklahoma City for a hearing in state court shortly after the bombing (but after the area had been cleaned up). I walked up to the area where the bombing took place. It was creepy. Windows were blown out everywhere. No one was around.

I was stationed at Fort Sill, Oklahoma at the time. While running an errand in my car, I hear over the radio something to the effect of, "More on the Oklahoma City explosion when we return . . ." in a very upbeat voice with the ubiquitous transition music playing in the background. I assumed it was a music festival or something, and made a mental note to check it out. Got back to my office and saw the news.
I also experienced an eerie coincidence a few years later, when two of my CAS3 classmates at Leavenworth had direct ties to the bombing: one was McVeigh's platoon leader in Desert Storm; the other was Michael Fortier's brother.

I attended a training seminar (Fed LEO) that put together a very convincing argument that the OKC bombing was an Al Queda operation. We either weren’t sophisticated enough to realize it or we covered it up. My guess is that it was a cover up job by the Justice Department.
