So, is cheaper gas a pro crimson Tide thing?
Yet another reason to root for Alabama.
Costs of goods and services drop for everyone with low fuel costs.
Just because fuel prices arbitrarily peak and you clowns can't keep your hands off F350's isn't the rest of the country's fault

This is the point where Trump should call the Saudis they have 36 hours to fix this. If they don’t, the Iranian rockets that attacked the SA oil fields will look like M80’s when we flatten the entire facility

90% of their population wants to live in the Stone Age anyway. Oil independence makes SA expendable

You want to start a war over something that is a net benefit on the American economy?

This is not a net benefit for the economy.

We are the worlds largest oil producer and prices crashing is good for us?

Lower prices at the gas pump do not offset the trauma this can cause

The Saudi’s are largely doing this because fracking has flooded the market with oil. They know their extraction cost is lower than ours so this is now the second big effort to derail US oil production.

They are directly attacking us. Their goal is to get us and the rest of the world back to being dependent on them again.

But this is a net benefit for us? You are very uninformed if you really think that is the case

The implication by me looking for a truck nuts stock is that I think oil is going to sky rocket yet again as always

BTW George the Greek called my broker to sell on Apple and put it all into NUT

Doesn't affect me at all. I'm in my 40's and in great health. Trauma? That's for the old folks to worry about...

Whoops, wrong thread. But no one will remember this oil hysteria within 90 days. Just all media fearmongering.

Louisiana should have diversified beyond O&G a lonnnnggggg time ago. Hanging your entire state’s economic stability on a volatile industry is incredibly irresponsible. The state has banked on O&G for decades, has been handcuffed by it, has been betrayed by it, and will continue to be stagnant because of it. The truth is that those responsible for Louisiana’s economic direction don’t want “Da Boot” to ever look into other arenas because keeping the population starving for jobs is the only way to ensure that those that get the only jobs in the state are willing to work those 80 hour weeks for $15 and turn around and talk about how much money they make, failing to realize they’re actually underpaid due to the OT they’re putting in.

Because as LA has been on death’s bed with life support about to be pulled the O&G $$ trickles back. The only thing more ridiculous than the state being so married to it, is the wealth squandered by the state during the good years.

I’m uninformed on why LA has lost some of these big time bids to other southern states. Is basically just typical LA political/bureaucratic bullshite? Straight up outbid?
