Brent down 26%

WTI currently at $31

Yep, all the algos bounced off 30 but when the US opens tomorrow we'll be down in the 20s.

American oil had a good run, but it's over. I advise anyone in the industry to start seeking employment elsewhere.

Don't Baton Rouge baws mainly work in downstream operations? Seems like it would be a good thing for refineries if the their main raw material just got cheaper.

Good. So the people you see from time to time who will put in like $2.27 will get a lot more gas for their cash..

Seriously, I remember in the summer of 08.. when the gas was over $4 a gallon, I saw a dude pull up, told his girl to go in and pay.. He gave her less than a gallon's worth. She was like "I am not going in there to pay for less than a gallon" He was like "That's all I got on me. We can make it home with that"...

Most companies have upstream operations too.

I know Valero is only downstream...or used to be.
