In 2016, it was also about driving Russia and rest of OPEC to the table also. They all said SA should cut, but wouldn't make their own commitments. Saudis said fine and crashed the market until the other cartel members changed their tune. Sounds like Russia needs another taste of the whip.

NB4 all the baws start crying about how everyone should feel bad for them although they have extremely minimal skills, buy 70k trucks, save zero money, and didn’t bother getting an education beyond GED.

Lets' hope you O&G baws saved some of that cash from all the flush years, and didn't spend it all on tricked out F250's and Amazon toilet paper.

You realize oil companies + oil service companies employ more than just roughnecks right?

You've got plenty of well educated accountants, geologists, attorneys etc. who are employed by or provide services to American E&P companies. Many of them are financially responsible people trying to provide for their families and this has a deep negative effect on them, as well.

But by all means, keep cheering on your fellow Americans being unemployed.

BP pays a 10% divided at $20, at least they did in 09. That's when I covered.

So, this coupled with the virus should yield some dirt cheap flight prices right?

Obviously you don’t know about the industry, it hasn’t been “flush” since 2014. Not everyone in the industry has truck nuts. There are plenty of engineers and normal people. Enjoy saving your 3 dollars a week while 1000’s of people will now have to worry about being laid off.

I'm kinda looking forward to being laid off.

Think I'm having a midlife crisis.

Maybe I'll become a fireman.
