Explains why Sam's is always out of drinks, milk, and certain prepackaged foods on the 1st and the 15th.

Do these numbers include the disaster food stamps that were issued after the hurricanes? If so, that could explain the increase.

If you add young children and teens, half our state is just unemployable.

You can't get people to work rt now.

Even Popeyes is advertising $11/hr rt now.

Are you suggesting that everyone who received this assistance is unemployed?

Funny but the dispersement of food stamps is staggered throughout the month and Costco takes them too.

I saw a guy using it the other day for about $150 in groceries and he got into a new Jeep Grand Cherokee.

These numbers likely include the disaster food stamps from the hurricanes. So I would be willing to say they are a tad misleading.

Friend of mine in N Louisiana had some Mexicans working on his farm they all quit once they figured out they could make more off the state not working.

One had 4 kids and was legal - he gets snap for food, housing help, daycare help and unemployment from the state for him and wife plus Covid help.

19K in stimulus money

exactly what the progressive Left wants to see. more people 'dependent' on the government.

you have to admit, they are great at it. Shutting down the economy and forcing people to stay home for most of the year over a virus with a survivability rate greater than 99%. But but, we got those Uncle Biden stimmie checks yall! Meanwhile, letting in undocumented illegal immigrant families who cannot speak english, have little to no education, and do nothing but suck up taxpayer money while taking away minimum wage jobs from Americans.

socialism, here we come.

That absolutely has to include DSNAP from the hurricanes. I know I'm one of them. I live in LC and lost a shite ton of food in freezers, they sent me a card with a big ole $198 on it. So I'm part of that statistic.

Possibly but LA didn't even see the highest percentage increase.
