Officer involved shooting in Mandeville

The incident, which is still under investigation, occurred Friday (July 5) evening in the 700 block of Heavens Drive. No law enforcement personnel were injured. The area has been secured and there is no threat to the public. More information will be released when it becomes available.

The etymology of that phrase is unknown. I searched online, and there are some theories, but no evidence to support any of them. First known use was in the 1857. I can remember my grandfather saying it.

Just looked up the 700 block of Heavens Drive on google earth. There are some shitty looking apartments right there. That tracks.
