Zero sympathy.

$100 million.

You could set aside $5 million in a safe index fund and then go ham with the $95 million with wild parties, real estate, risky investments, cars, and jewelry. You might become a billionaire or lose it all.

Then have the $5 million fall back to enjoy a life luxury and ease forever.

Pretty easy to blow through that when you're making it rain 100's on the field after LSU wins the ship.

This is gonna get lost in this discussion, but he did make a decent point about the 100M deal really being 60M.

Players rarely get the headline number (I bet this is especially true for highly paid WRs and RBs).

That's BEFORE taxes, agent fees, etc.

Odell not only cost himself but he's cost hundreds of thousands of more athletes by perpetuating the lifestyle that is getting your arse broke that is going to lead to the same behavior by the next generation behind you.
