Have a friend that won't take a drink (coke, beer, water, etc) from an ice chest, no matter how clean it is. When he goes to a restaurant, he puts on his glasses and inspects the silverware by holding it up toward the light.

What ya got OT?

Know a guy who has to have his money in his wallet in sequential order with all bills facing the same way and with none of the bills folded. That guy is me

Had a neighbor that would lock his truck doors 15-20 times. The honking drove me insane.

My mom. If anything is left out of place for more than 5 minutes it gets put up somewhere. Sometimes she forgets where she puts it. It just can’t be visible clutter. Drives me and my dad insane.

I don't do odd numbers well. Radio volume level has to be on an even number, wont drive an odd number golf cart, etc.

Im kinda getting over it tho.

Same here too. All my shirts in my closet face the same way with identical hangers.

Just looks more organized that way.

My dad used to say that if you went to stay at my grandma's house and got up in the middle of the night to go use the bathroom you would come back and your bed would be made.

I think she just liked taking care of people and staying busy. I miss her, and I find myself picking things up more when people are at my house sometimes.

This is my wife, but her tolerance is longer than 5 minutes. She can let something sit there for about 24 hours, but then she loses her mind and throws it somewhere illogical where it takes forever to find it when it's needed.

I had a legit OCD friend in college. She lived her entire life by a meticulously planned out calendar. She ate every meal at the exact same time everyday, did laundry the exact same days and times of the week, tried to schedule her classes for the same exact times every semester, etc. One hiccup in her routine would send her into a panic attack.

I do this thing where I line up stuff in my visual field. Like, I'll look out the window and see fire hydrant across the street and will tilt me head up or down to get if perfectly int-between the blinds! It's weird, and I've always done it.

Odd thing is that I've seen my youngest son who's 12 do this exact same thing and I asked him if that was what he was doing, and his eyes widened and said, "yeah..." like I had read his mind.

That's being a germophobe, not OCD.

I do both, but I have my clothes separated by color and then further organized within each color by t shirt, polo, or button down each going from light to dark.

Not sure about others, but for me, the volume on the tv or my radio, temp on the thermostat will never be on an odd number. It must be on an even number. If it is on an odd number I will change it. I get irrationally anxious if I'm riding in someone's vehicle and they lea e the volume on an odd number. If I'm close with the person, I'll ask if I can turn it up or down.

I dont know why I'm like this, but I've always done it.

Know a guy who has to number his athletic socks so that each individual sock is worn and washed the same number of times. That guy is me.
