Probably has a lot to do with it, but he also won't drink out of a can or bottle, he'll pour the drink in a glass. Forgot to mention that.

My wife, and every woman, probably has a million things...but of what I can recollect now...my wife has to hit the key fob button to lock the doors and here the horn beep. She doesn't have to do it 15-20 times, but even when I'm driving her vehicle and just hit the lock button on the door before shutting it... she'll stop and get upset if I don't hit the button as we're walking away. In my vehicle, she gives zero fricks at least.
Here's another one...when walking into a store or wherever that has those protection posts or some object in front of the entry, she has to walk through the same gap as me. If she's ahead and I don't go through the same gap she will stop and say something...indicating that I should go back and walk around...I look at her and just keep walking...then she goes back around and is flustered for a bit. frick that, IDC.

I know someone who lived in a condo and had random tall pine trees outside the slider door. The person had to always walk in between the pine trees to their car or they thought something bad would happen to them.

When I fill my car up with gas it has to stop on .25, .50, .75, or .00

Volume has to be an even number. That's all I can think of right now

Eating two gummy bears at a time because you feel bad if you are just killing one without a friend to go with him

Have a friend that won't take a drink (coke, beer, water, etc) from an ice chest

Does it make me OCD if I separate a pack of M&Ms by color and then eat them from smallest to largest in number? What if they form a circle and the ones with cracked shells are sacrificed first by ritualistic combat?

That's not OCD. That's just a product of not being a dumbass.

One afternoon I was outside of a museum taking some photos of a green space and I noticed a man standing at the door of the museum tinkering with the lock.
He'd been there at least 20 minutes, so I assumed he was working on or repairing the lock.
I saw a security guard walk past and I asked if the guy at the door was a repairman. He told me the guy was the curator of the museum and has severe OCD and he locks and unlocks the door hundreds of times before he feels comfortable enough to leave.
After about another 5-10 minutes, the man stepped away from the door and then closed an outer iron barred door and placed a big padlock on the door -- and then spent another 15-20 minutes locking and unlocking and tugging on the padlock.
The security guy passed back by again and said "he still at it?!?". I said he seemed to be.
The guard told me he will sometimes be there until after dark performing this process. He'd been doing it for years and years and everyone had gotten accustomed to the ritual.
It was fascinating -- but also made me feel very sad for the man.

I've gotten way better with age, but I still need my volume on even numbers, preferably multiples of 4. I try to break it sometimes but it's a tough one lol.
When I was younger it was bad. If I felt a touch sensation on one side, I HAD TO feel it on the other. (Something cold touched my right hand, my left had to feel the same thing. Weird I know but I did beat that one

Same here too. All my shirts in my closet face the same way with identical hangers.
Just looks more organized that way.

Knew a cannabis grower who shite in his soil for good luck.
He hot arrested..so..apparently took luck from one area in life and put it in another.
Eta:
He sucked as a grower and deserved the arrest. I just wanted to share the stupidity.

I can write a book, because I live with the queen of OCD.
After weed eating (edging) around our driveway, she takes a scissors to make sure each grass blade is cut perfectly.
From the "don't like mess vault"....I'll serve myself some food from the fridge and put it in the microwave. 90 seconds later when I look for the spoon, it is gone. Happens erry damn time.

had a neighbor who sprayed off his driveway every morning with the water hose. In the fall he would almost go crazy when the leaves started falling.
He also told me it took him 30 minutes every morning to pack his briefcase just right before leaving for the office

The beer label has to be centered with the koozie logo perfectly.
