This. Do people not realize how many homogeneous societies are absolute shitholes?

So advanced they have women-only rail cars because the men are so creepy...

But I liked Japan, we had an office there. Definitely a fascinating place.

I watched something about the women in Japan, they aren't interested in dating, sex, or relationships.
Did you do the Naked Bootleg with any Japanese ladies?

It's like the Kardashians, they can't even stand the possibility of giving birth because it might screw up their body image.

This is what happens to a hyper-vain society.

You inspired me to check out one of those “walking around in 4k” videos of Tokyo on YT. You aren’t kidding. It looks fantastic there.

They don't want your culcha. And if the USA breaks down, its little military base in the Pacific goes with it.

And that covers the extra mile but it is rarely achieved without the commonality of a homogenous people with common traditions and history.

Was stationed in Masawa for 1 1/2 years. Beautiful place as was the whole country. Traveled extensively throughout the far east and easily the cleanest countries ever, even the big cities were clean and bikes everywhere. The traffic flow even where lines were painted on streets mean nothing, it's funny as shite.

Did you get any looks or arguments for not wearing a mask?

UAE has a big mix of cultures and religions but has virtually zero crime. Somehow they make it work just fine.

It can also work if you have repressive governmental oversight.

Some say the southern states were willing to secede for this. But Lincoln said hell no

Some would be wrong.

Without a doubt. This “diversity is our strength” crap is just that, crap.

The way it is applied is crap. Diversity of thought (qualified, logical thought) when approaching a difficult problem can be extremely helpful. Diversity for diversity's sake is pointless and usually counterproductive. Diversity to meet a metric or for public perception is a signal of a lack of leadership, the exception would be when you have to do it to operate due to laws or the primary client base you serve(sometimes the government or the world in general forces your hand).

So what yiu are saying is this is what you get when you have a country not built on the backs of slavery. Clean and crime free? Hmmmm

Tell that to the Korean comfort women Japan enslaved during WWII or the way they treated POWs.

It's the ole "everyone pulling in one direction" cliché. Diversity brings a thousand different points of view pulling in a thousand different directions, so nothing ever gets done, or at least done correctly. Something will get approved one way, then it will get modified to death until it doesn't even resemble what was intended in the first place.

Have you tried going to a Costco lately , even on a weekday ?

ironically enough, the Costco that I go to in Duluth, GA is always packed with a shite ton of Japanese, Chinese, and Korean folks and they all have a complete lack of awareness.

Which is odd because if you go to one of those countries the people there act completely different than their counterparts do who live in, or travel to, the USA.

A culture of respect, to be specific. there's no trash because everyone respects the people and area around you. When you are on an island, everything is limited, when there are millions living in a small area, everything has to be efficient, can't have waste. Can't trash the place where you live, because you can't go anywhere else. In America, in general, we don't respect anything or anyone, we don't worry about waste because we have abundant resources.
