Job or marriage are pretty much your only choice. You can't get anything more than tourist visa unless you get a sponsor (employer) on your application.

These are some of the benefits of a homogenous culture, a population that values that culture.

The biggest problem in the USA is that the kind of people who made it great are being overrun by the kind of people who are fleeing piece of shite countries or (unfortunately) we brought here from piece of shite countries.

The former slave trade and lax immigration are killing us now.

I feel like every country in the world doesn’t have crime or income taxes and their vote counts yet people on here still talk about how awesome America is because we have the best hot dogs or whatever

Yet their birth rate is plummeting and most everyone lives in tiny apartments. There's pros and cons, but a lot the US can learn.

It’s not that simple.

The Nordic countries have QOL that puts ours to shame. However you will never have the same opportunity to get wealthy over there that you have here. It’s possible, but most people are middle of the road. The tax rate is high as frick, but the governments use it well. Public transportation, great infrastructure, good social programs. Maternity and paternity leave are huge over there. Again, you will pay an arse ton in taxes.

I agree that the point blank America is fantastic mantra is delusional sometimes, but this is, IMO, the greatest country. Not because of freedoms but because of the ability to do what you want within reason and without judgement, whilst having the ability to get extremely wealthy.

Wait, you actually see that as a negative thing ? Have you tried going to a Costco lately , even on a weekday ? Have you tried taking a vacation to any beach, on pretty much any weekend- even pre-pandem ?? The US has WAY too many people, and im not saying the answer is to limit births like China used to do or anyhting, but id much rather error on the side of cutting down on the number of gotdam people .

I feel like that’s a psyop and the government props up most of the “publicly” rich people (think mark Zuckerberg and Elon) and the real “rich people” that control america control the world but you can’t say their names

That’s not a good trade off imo

I worked as a engineer for NEC for a while out of college. They had a big manufacturing plant there. I spent many many weeks there back in the early 90's. That was a very nice and old school place. No idea what its like now. Crops and fields everywhere.

I enjoyed my time there more than the big cities I worked at on my visits...

I watched something about the women in Japan, they aren't interested in dating, sex, or relationships.
Did you do the Naked Bootleg with any Japanese ladies?
