what’s with bringing babies and 1/2 year olds? I saw hundreds of women and men with strollers and month old babies strapped to their chests. It was 90 degrees and you’re on your feet all day spending a ton of money. Why bring a baby or infant? Curious of the rationale behind that.

Our son will be a year old the week after we leave Disney World next year. Timing thing for us more than anything. Our good friends from college are having their anniversary celebration there. Most of us haven't seen each ither in a hot minute, so we're making it happen. We like Disney World vacations a lot.

Plus by that time Quattro will be used to loud environments. We've already taken him to the AT&T Center multiple times and we're going to SeaWorld later this month Nothing fazes that kid .

I will though.

keep shifting that argument...

you just said she remembers shite you forgot.

so youve already forgotten more than someone who will remember nothing in 6 months.

I understand, my bad. I shouldn't have said your statement was retarded. We've taken ours when they were under 4 and they definitely enjoy it. It's more of a pain in the arse with strollers and bags of shite but as far as the experience for the kid I think they get something out of it.

sorry again didn't mean to be a dick

Two years ago, we took our 2 1/2 year old to Disney mostly because she was Free and we wanted to go back.

It was a blast watching her interact with the characters. To this day, she still talks about riding the Tea Cups and how Merida took her nose.

We are making a return trip in February.

Cosign.

Traveling the world counterclockwise through Germany then Mexico can get a boy buzzed.

Glad we can still have these threads even with the travel board.

They always go the exact same.

I stopped taking the bus my last trip. My FIL is considered disabled so he has a handicap pass. That's the way to go.

The kid wont remember argument is more retarded every time I hear it

So, should you not give them toys? Ice cream? Any thing besides basic necessities?

Both these observations keep getting worse and worse. If you can't walk anymore or yet, why go to Epcot?

I never shifted an argument. The original statement was about awareness.

I have not forgotten more. That isn't what I stated.

Maybe not even those. They won't remember suffering. The nice stuff kicks in around age 3 tbh

Salmon nailed it already. You go in assuming they won't remember it but that's not the point. You remember those moments and they're totally worth it. Then 10 months later, they're recalling meeting Mickey and doing the Hot Dog dance with him and asking where he's at.

At some point, you would think that actual disabled people would speak out about these gelatinous assholes "appropriating their culture".

Absolutely. And only the most spartan of basic necessities. They won't remember it anyway.

Who f*cking cares if they are free, why take a 6 month old and have the hassle of dragging their arse around and wearing you out?

Find a sitter or leave them with family. you work hard and i believe the parents should have just as much fun as the kids.

my wife and i had a blast around Epcot and Disney and i cant imagine having the pain of a baby with me. time and place, Disney isnt one of them

We took our kid when he was 3, he couldn't ride most of the rides but we did almost every character meet and greet and at least one meal a day with characters. He ate it up and loved it.

He enjoyed all the rides he could go on.

We have been every 5 years since. The last time he went he finally rode all the rollercoasters and scary rides.
