1. I have never seen so many scooters with obese people on them. They hog up the lanes, busses, and lines for rides. It takes 5 damn minutes to lower and raise the draw bridge to load their fat asses on the bus. For every 1 person I saw who was actually disabled, I saw 10 obese people riding around. Side note: I saw tons of foreigners and 95% were normal size or slightly overweight

The scooters are a big problem... and I say that knowing that in a week and a half, I'll be there with my family and my wife's parents will both have one. But they are 70+ and have trouble walking. No issue with weight.

But they do dramatically slow down the bus service. I've often said there needs to be seperate busses and times for them.

However... with many of these obese people... there obesity is such that it truly becomes a handicap. It's no more easier for them to get around than a person who is actually in a wheelchair.

2. its your money and by all means spend as you may, but what’s with bringing babies and 1/2 year olds? I saw hundreds of women and men with strollers and month old babies strapped to their chests. It was 90 degrees and you’re on your feet all day spending a ton of money. Why bring a baby or infant? Curious of the rationale behind that.

Most of the time, they are their with other children/family, and don't want to let having a young baby cause them to miss out.

If it's just husband, wife, and 6 month old... that's odd. But usually that's not the case.

The guy is right about crowd calendars not working anymore

I asked a guy today and he's been working there 18 years. Said there is no more slow time. It's either crazy or stupid crazy.

We got to ride every single ride in the park and it was great, but it was still busy as shite and the crowd calendar said this was a slowish week to be there.

Too many newish events - crowd calendars have not caught up. There was a half marathon this weekend... plus food and wine is wrapping up.

Plus... they are discounting so much now.

Disney has gotten very good at capacity control.

We get there next Sat and stay through Fri after Turkey Day.

Ours was a surprise too for the girls... then my wife (no pics) got weak and decided to tell them 2 weeks ago as a reward for their report cards.

We loved Epcot. It's so awesome around the holidays because it's so decorated

Magic Kingdom and Epcot for us.

Hollywood was cool but kids liked animal kingdom better

Wow, fat shaming. I really thought we were better than that around here.

We have brought all of our kids, oldest is 5, multiple times. Kids under 3 don't need tickets and they enjoy everything except the roller coasters. We don't stay all day, usually rope drop until 1-2 and then back after dinner. Usually the babies stay back then. Do I think they are making memories, no. I do think they enjoy it though. All this being said, I don't think it's good for any age to stay all day until close.

All this being said, I would not bring a kid until they have had all their shots. That place is too international.

We took my son when he was almost 2. He rode everything he could based on height and absolutely loved it. I was nervous but he was free and we didn't want to wait till our kids were past the magic stage. We napped after lunch to beat the heat and stayed to park close every night. Maybe my kids are different but they all loved it and if you plan it right yours will too. Babies on the other hand I don't understand.

As I've gotten older Epcot has become my favorite park. Super excited about the new margarita stand that's supposed to be open.

You don't have to pay for them (meal plan, park tickets, or lodging).

Busch Gardens gives you 2 free beers per ticket purchased for each person over 21. They also have much better rides and the African wildlife is badass. I held a cub tiger there once.

frick Disney world. Overrated
This. Love Busch Garden rollercoasters. The rides at Busch are much better for adults, the park is smaller, the crowds/wait times are l smaller...its just a much better experience if your kids are beyond the Disney character stage.

Yeah man, my wife and i had a blast at Epcot. We had park hopper and all of my family and I went 3 times this week. My kids were obsessed with Soren.

It’s been great during food and wine fest. The vibe was great and they have Christmas music playing throughout.

They also have concerts every night. Saw Blue October Friday night and Boys 2 Men last night. My wife and I joked that it would be a fun couples trip and just do Epcot.
